Configuration Map Updates For v552

In order to upgrade to the Kubernetes version of Sysdig Monitor v552, a config map object needs to be added.

Steps

1) Get the current configuration file (you can use also a versioned one if you have it):

kubectl get configmap sysdigcloud-config --namespace sysdigcloud -o yaml > current_config.yaml
cp current_config.yaml new_config.yaml

 

2) Add the new parameters for OAuth allowed domains alongside existing config under “data”:

# Optional: OAuth allowed domains (comma separated list of domains)
sysdigcloud.oauth.allowed.domains.list: ""

 

3) Apply the new config file with:

kubectl replace -f new_config.yaml --namespace sysdigcloud

 

You can also simply edit the config map inline, if versioning is not required, making the edit and saving the file directly:

kubectl edit configmap/sysdigcloud-config --namespace sysdigcloud
